The pop singer-turned-business mogul sat down for a lengthy interview with Bustle where she spoke about her amazing weight loss, which has become a controversial topic because some people believe that she had surgery or used a dangerous drug to achieve her goal.

Jessica Simpson also had some unexpected words for the haters and naysayers who criticize her every move and decision. Simpson then gave a heartbreaking reason why she rarely posts on social media.
The fashion designer confessed: “I was going to post a photo because everybody’s down my neck, Jessica, you need to post, Jessica, you need to post. I’m like, OK. Then I go to post, and I’m like, “Oh, but let’s go to the FaceApp [first]. I’m like, Oh, that makes it look a little bit better. Oh, that makes it a little bit better. What has done that to me? What is that doing to my daughter? What we’re doing on social media is creating this idea of what is beautiful and setting up our lives artificially — to look good for who?”
Jessica Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, are the parents of Maxwell, Birdie, and Ace.
Simpson moved from the music industry to the business world very rapidly, which is why she is baffled by the fact that her name and image are still relevant.
She shared: “It boggles my mind that I’ve stayed relevant and that people are curious because I have not entertained. I have not entertained at all.”
Talking about how she fends off the negativity from the naysayers and dream killers, she revealed: “Am I going to let the negativity derail me? No, I’m too old for that. I am too connected to myself right now to let that derail me. It doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt. I am fortunate to have been every size. For [my] brand, understanding the women [who buy our products], and for my psyche.”
Jessica Simpson also commented on the viral videos on TikTok that revealed that her marriage to Nick Lachey was less than perfect and that the divorce was written on the wall.
In one clip taken from the former couple’s reality series, Newlyweds, they are seen having an argument.
While watching the video, Simpson, who was not pleased, had this reaction: “It’s always something f*cking wrong.”
In the clip, Nick Lachey said that Jessica Simpson was a “brat” and later added, “You’re a spoiled brat. You’re a bratty girl.”
Jessica Simpson was asked to share her thoughts on the public’s initial impression of Nick Lachey as a “long-suffering, stand-up husband.”
Simpson responded with a shady comment, alluding that it was all a publicity stunt. She claimed, “It’s amazing what publicity can do.”
She continued with the shades by saying that her second marriage is different while talking about why she does not go on tour.
The entertainer said: “I’m doing this as a mother now, as a wife. I was a wife last time, but this is a very different marriage. And they’ve never seen me do this.”
She revealed why she felt jealous of Katy Perry: “I have my daughter taking a private plane with North West to go see Katy Perry in Vegas. And inside I’m like, She was supposed to see me first. Then I’m like, This is not competitive, Jessica. Let your daughter enjoy Katy Perry. But there are moments that make me want to do it — for them to see that color of me.”
Did she use Ozempic to lose more than 100 pounds? Jessica Simpson responded by: “Oh, Lord. I mean, it is not…it’s willpower. I’m like, do people want me to be drinking again? Because that’s when I was heavier. Or they want me to be having another baby? My body can’t do it.”

In the essay that she wrote in the spring, Jessica Simpson confessed that she was sleeping with a huge star 20 years ago.
