Famous exes, Ivana Trump and President Donald Trump, have had a very tumultuous romance and an even more complicated divorce.
The Czech-American businesswoman and her powerful ex-spouse have attacked each other via interviews and in the tabloids.
However, it seems that the former couple can agree on two things — they believe that their only daughter, Ivanka Trump, has great potential to lead the free world and undocumented immigrants are rapists.
Indeed in the past weeks, both parents have come out to say that they think that Ivanka will be president of these United States one day.
The fashion designer and author did an interview on the British talk show Loose Women, where she made this bold prediction: “I tell you, I think, she’s in the White House every day, you know? She’s next to her father every day. She knows all what is going around. I think she could be one day the first woman president, definitely. She’s smart as hell; she’s beautiful, she’s au courant. How much more can you have?”
The 71-year-old former model, who has been married four times, also praised Trump’s controversial immigration policies.
She backed her ex-husband’s claims that immigrants are criminals who come to America to rape and steal. Ivana stated: “He is pro everything I believe in. He is Republican, and so am. He’s achieved so much, especially with immigration. I am immigrant, but they have to come to the country legally, they have to get a job, they have to pay taxes like the rest of Americans.”
She added: “A lot of people, they don’t dress even American, they dress in whatever they dress in, and they don’t get jobs, and they steal, and they rape the women.”
She also took a few shots at Melania Trump by saying she is not doing a good job as the first lady: “I am not sure. She’s very quiet, and she really doesn’t go to too many places. She goes to stuff when she has to go. She’s quiet.”
Ivana also confessed that she is not a friend of Melania and she avoids calling the White House for this reason: “And I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically first Trump wife. OK? I’m first lady.”
At a recent rally, POTUS said this about his daughter: “I want to see the first woman president also, but I don’t want to see the first woman president get into the position the way [Harris] would do it, and she’s not competent, she’s not competent.”
He continued: “They’re all saying, ‘We want Ivanka! I don’t blame them.”
The president is an underdog against Joe Biden when it comes to the November election, but his family seems united behind him.
