Once glued to the hips, the pair decided to spend much of this past summer apart.
While in California, Markle focused on her lifestyle brand and attended high-profile gatherings for some of her friends and events close to her heart.
Prince Harry zig-zagged through several countries doing royal work of putting the spotlight on multiple charities.
The pair reunited for the fall only to reveal they had different winter plans.
In an email, Prince Harry confirmed that he will embark on another solo engagement around the year-end holidays.
On December 10, Prince William‘s younger brother will be one of the most famous global ambassadors for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity supporting bereaved military children.
According to Express, Prince Harry will be joined by a large group of the organization staff members to spread joy and love to children going through challenging situations, especially around Christmas.
The outlet explained: “The Duke of Sussex will host a special video call to share what Christmas is like for a real-life prince. The festive call, which will be held on Tuesday, December 10, at 6 p.m., will include as many charity members as possible.”
The email invitation from Prince Harry and the charity read: “Prince Harry would like to jump on a call with as many of our members as possible to wish them a Merry Christmas. He appreciates that the festive season can be hard for our members and wants them to know he is thinking of them.”
Markle’s decision begs the question: Why is she not more committed to a beautiful cause close to her husband’s heart?
According to some experts, the invitation and Markle’s absence indicate a shift in the duo’s once-tight partnership.
Some observers wonder if this is just business or there is more at play in this new situation. Reports have suggested that Prince Harry is more interested in charity business, whereas Markle likes businesses that can generate a lot of income.
Harris could also be trying to reach out to his family in a subliminal way, by doing things they can be proud of. However, the Royal Family seems indifferent to his different activities.
Many supporters worry the business separation could affect their marriage.
