It seems that the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s reality show will be airing on Netflix after all.
A few weeks ago, the royal couple quickly denied the reports that their first project with the streaming service would be a series based on their fascinating lives.
However, sources are saying otherwise. The former actress and the prince will be dropping a documentary, (some say it is just a fancy word to say reality show), that will focus on the ups and downs they are going through since dropping the bombshell that they were stepping down from their royal duties.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who signed a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix, will give the company and its 193 million subscribers/viewers their money’s worth.
To truly get a sense of what has taken place in their lives, Meghan and Harry’s team was able to get them the lucrative contract by sharing the existence of the personal videos that were filmed in Frogmore.
The person familiar with the situation said the documentary would be classy and added: “Harry and Meghan’s publicity team have gone into over-drive to quash any notion of them filming a tacky reality series. Essentially they are splitting hairs. There will be a fly-on-the-wall series, but obviously, it won’t be warts and all, or about their personal life.”
The insider went on to reveal to The Sun: “They are very keen to highlight their worthy charity work, and cameras will film them going from one good cause to another. For example, when they drop food off at food banks – a camera will be there to capture it.”
Another source told the publication: “It will be tasteful. They want to give people a glimpse into their lives.”
Harry and Meghan will be releasing their projects in 2021. The power couple is working on several profound documentaries, films, and kids’ programs.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have some royal fans confused by the news because they have always requested privacy, and now they are putting their intimate lives in the spotlight.
A baffled social media user claimed: “Oh, come on! No-one has ever believed from the day they left the BRF that they wanted PRIVACY! Have they? All they wanted was FAME and MONEY! Instead, they’ve got notoriety and desperate scrabbling for pennies…..oh the hilarious irony…..”
This commenter made this prediction: “I knew it!! This is all Netflix wants from them. As with everything else they do, it’s going to backfire terribly for them.”
There is a big possibility that Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal will not approve of this.
