Rebel Wilson‘s life has been anything but ordinary, as the actress received a role in the hit series Straight Talking with Ant Middleton that premiered on Sky, where she had fun flaunting her amazing new figure despite suffering an injury while filming.

In the show, the 40-year-old Australian was involved with an adventurous getaway throughout Mexico in the company of Ant Middleton.

The movie star marked the occasion with a couple of new pictures on social media that revealed glimpses of her extraordinary trip and showed her and Middleton enjoying the sunshine on a beach.

In the snaps, Wilson showcased her new slimmed-down figure, as she was wearing a provocative wetsuit in a dark red color, as she posed to the camera while talking with the host.

Ant Middleton took the actress “on the trip of a lifetime through Mexico, with just a 4×4, a backpack and each other for company.”

However, it appears that she went through hell to get the hot photos.

She showed off the nasty injury she sustained on the show and explained while on The Graham Norton Show: “I was very safe with Ant. But then what happened is I had to go to the beach to take some hot photos for Instagram. It’s not every day you’re in Mexico.”

She continued: “So that injury that you can see is I got all scraped down my left-hand side and all bruised ribs. So basically Ant protected me and, like, we were totally fine, even though we did the most dangerous things but taking the hot Instagram photos on the beach was my downfall.“

The past year brought a lot of changes for the Pitch Perfect sensation, who went through rigorous fitness and diet regime in order to achieve her dream weight of 165 pounds.

During a virtual interview with Drew Barrymore, the actress opened up about her process of getting in shape and admitted that previously her diet was dominated mainly by carbs, but even though they were delicious, she needed to eat a lot more protein.

She recently shared the following secret to losing 61 pounds. She revealed on Instagram: “Rather than step on the scale, look at yourself in the mirror and be like ‘dammmm girrrrrl. You’re smart and talented and accomplished and perfect just the way you are.”

Wilson’s weight loss journey is an inspiration to many of her supporters.
