The 21-year-old singer and actress debuted a massive arm ink that is out of this world. In the viral photo, Willow Smith, wearing a tight tank top, opted not to show her face and let the focus fall on her fresh masterpiece.
The tattoo starts from Willow Smith’s shoulder and runs down almost to her elbow.
The tattoo artist behind the creation, Raymond Jimenez, shared the following explanation for the concept “as a hand reaching into the cosmos and it starts at Willow’s shoulder and goes down her arm.”
The tattoo also features a series of mathematical equations trail alongside the arm.

The musician said this about her father and mother’s acceptance of her impressive ink: “He was actually the one that I was most nervous about. I showed my mom the art for my half-sleeve three weeks before I got it. But I didn’t tell my dad.”
She went on to reveal the kind words that Will Smith shared with her upon seeing her tattoo: “I showed it to him, and he said, ‘Everything is in divine order. Your path is your path, and I love you.'”
Willow recently joined her mother and grandmother to get matching tattoos depicting a Hindu goddess and a lotus flower.
She shared the reason for the special ink and the meaning of the flower: “The lotus represents spiritual enlightenment, and we hear this saying, like, ‘Through the mud grows the lotus.’ And I think all of us from different perspectives in life have had that journey. The bud to the little blossom to the bloom also, I feel like, expresses the spiritual journey but also the three of us: I’m the youngest, you know, my mom is the middle, and Gam is the fully bloomed lotus.”
Many backers seem to be like Willow’s parents and found the ink “absolutely exquisite” and loved the details that focus on her love for physics.
