Queen Elizabeth’s Official Photo With Lilibet Might Be Coming Sooner Than Expected — Prince Harry Made The Right Move

Queen Elizabeth Prince Harry Photo With Lilibet

Prince Harry will have his wish after all. During the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children spent time with Queen Elizabeth II on two occasions.

Upon their arrival in London, Markle and Prince Harry rushed to Windsor Castle so Her Majesty could meet her great-granddaughter, Lilibet Diana, for the first time.

On June 4th, Lilibet celebrated her first birthday; and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle introduced their daughter to her namesake great-grandmother when they traveled to Britain for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations last month.

Several media outlets have reported that Her Majesty was delighted to meet her namesake great-granddaughter.

And the aging Monarch took the opportunity to bond with her grandson, Archie, whom she had not seen since he was a baby.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were grateful for the moments with the 96-year-old Queen, even though their one request was turned down.

The power couple was hoping to have their private photographer capture on film the moment that the Queen was introduced to Lilibet.

According to a royal expert, the Queen personally intervened and told Prince Harry and Markle that she would not pose for the photo for a specific medical reason.

Queen Elizabeth explained that she had a bloodshot eye, (according to medical experts, red or bloodshot eyes happen when the tiny blood vessels on the surface of the whites of your eyes expand, turning the whites of one or both eyes a pink or reddish tint because of pollen, dust, and mold).

Indeed the Queen was spotted at multiple events during the Jubilee wearing sunglasses, presumably to hide her red-eye from the media and the public.

Royal expert Camilla Tominey made the following revelations about the meeting in The Telegraph: “The couple had hoped to bring their own photographer to capture the first meeting between the sovereign, whose family nickname is Lilibet, and her great-granddaughter.”

The royal editor revealed that the Queen said she did not want an unflattering picture of herself with the baby girl released to the public because of the health issue.

The author added: “However, the Queen personally intervened to prevent an official image being taken, apparently advising the couple that she had a bloodshot eye and did not want to feature in any pictures for public consumption.”

Tominey went on to say: “It came after aides expressed fears that publicizing a private meeting could set a dangerous precedent, not least if any photographs were shared with US television networks or Netflix, with whom the couple has signed a multi-million dollar contract.”

The story of Lilibet’s photo with Queen Elizabeth does not end there. The royal author went on to say that there is a big possibility that Prince Harry will get his wish in the near future.

The former soldier, who his grandmother adores, told her that he plans to return to England with his children soon.

Prince Harry asked the Queen for an official photo with Lilibet.

Tominey shared: “The Duke is thought to have expressed a desire to get an official photograph of the two Lilibets together at some point in the future.”

There are speculations that Prince Harry, Markle, and their children could join the Queen during her summer break at Balmoral Castle in Scotland — maybe she will pose for a portrait with Lilibet during the visit.
