Prince Harry has been making major moves to convince his father, King Charles III, that he has changed his ways.
The former soldier has gone radio silent on all things related to the Royal Family — no more revelations about King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, or Kate Middleton since the publication of Spare.
Prince Harry has also dropped hints that he wants to return to London with or without Meghan Markle. The author has apparently reached out to His Majesty, hoping that he would allow him to have a temporary apartment in one of his many mansions and palaces.
However, it has been revealed that it is too late for the second-born son to find his way back to his father’s arms.
While King Charles is publicly using a neutral or diplomatic tone towards Prince Harry, privately he is still boiling with anger because of the damage caused to the monarchy by releasing Spare.
In a new interview with the Daily Express US, Tom Quinn, author of Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family said there is a lot of rage and frustration inside the Palace.
He stated: “I have spoken to the people who worked for Meghan and Harry when they were in England and have also interviewed people who worked for William and Kate. And they say that privately, there’s a lot more anger than there is publicly.”
Quinn added: “Charles, in particular, is said to be furious about it.”
The many revelations made by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have led King Charles and Prince William to cook up a rather odd plan to make sure that they no longer have access to top family secrets.
According to Robert Jobson’s new book Our King: Charles III — The Man And The Monarch Revealed, Prince Harry will forever be in isolation if he is allowed back into the Palace walls.
He revealed via The Daily Mail: “In the aftermath of the interview – in which the couple said a senior royal had questioned what Archie’s skin tone would be – Prince William held a crisis meeting with his father. He is said to have been furious and said the firm needed a clear strategy for dealing with the renegade royals – and the then Prince of Wales agreed.”
He continued: “They decided that Prince Harry could no longer be trusted and they could not meet with him alone, for fear that the conversations would be remembered somewhat differently.
While ‘recollections may vary’, the royals decided they would have the benefit of larger numbers, as there would always be someone else in the room.”
Peace will come at a hefty price for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
