King Charles III, much like his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, seems to be fed up with the false and fantasy reports being sent to the media.
His Majesty, frustrated, has decided to take matters into his own hands and deny some of the claims about him and his rapport with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Many stories over the summer have claimed that Prince Harry’s relationship with King Charles has improved. The pair became estranged after Prince Harry and Markle resigned from their royal duties.
The situation went from bad to worse after Prince Harry and Markle decided to drop massive truth bombs on the royals. Prince Harry was practically disowned by King Charles, who refused to talk to him or invite him to any family function.
However, after King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, Prince Harry reached out to his father, and the media declared something different about the relationship.
Beautiful tales of Prince Harry reaching out to his father to offer his service spread wild. There were whimsical whispers of Prince Harry and Markle proposing a half-in and half-out plan — meaning they would be part-time royals traveling between London and California.
They would have roles in the monarchy while regaining their financial freedom. The fictional story took flight during Prince Harry’s most recent trip to London when he issued a statement claiming that he did his best to sort out the situation with his father.
The statement went on to say the two men did not meet because of The King‘s hectic schedule. King Charles lifted the lid of his son’s bald-faced lie.
Royal reporter Katie Nicholl did a penetrating piece for Vanity Fair, where she cleared the air.
She wrote: “Rumors in the press that Harry, who recently returned to the UK for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, is keen to assist his father with royal duties overseas are wide of the mark. Harry and Meghan‘s trip to Nigeria, while not an official royal tour, appeared to have all the trademarks of one and generated mostly positive press for the couple. During Harry’s three-day trip to the UK in May, there was no meeting with his father.”
The expert went on to share: “Harry was said to be deeply disappointed that Charles prioritized official engagements, including a palace garden party, over him. “While there has been a thawing of relations between father and son, there are still trust issues,” confides a family friend. “Charles was very hurt by some of the things Harry said about Camilla in his book. As for relations between Harry and William, there is a complete breakdown of trust.”
In this feud, no one is ready to take the first real step toward reconciliation.
