Kate Middleton Has Special Inheritance For Pippa Middleton

Prince William Kate Middleton Harry US Queen Elizabeth

Kate Middleton is still a princess, but one day, the inevitable will happen — she will become the Queen of England.

Middleton has been a fierce defender and representative of the monarchy for over two decades. She has always loved Prince William and has been the support system he needs as he prepares for the role of his life.

It is believed that after the coronation of her husband; Catherine, Princess of Wales, will have the same privileges as those who came before her.

Like Queen Camilla, Princess Kate will have the honor of naming her “companions.” The companions were previously known as “lady-in-waiting,” but Queen Camilla changed the name.

Princess Kate shares an exceptional bond with her only sister, Pippa Middleton. Pippa, who served as her maid of honor at her wedding and stood by her during her cancer battle, is her most trusted confidante.

PEOPLE Magazine speculated that Kate Middleton and Prince William might bring a modern approach to the Royal Family. This suggests that while Pippa may not receive an official title, she could inherit a particular role.

According to the BBC, Queen Camilla picked six companions for a more occasional and informal position: “They support her at official engagements and are not involved in replying to letters or day-to-day planning. They don’t receive a salary, but their expenses will be covered.”

Queen Camilla made her sister, Elliot, lady-in-attendance. According to royal historian Kate Williams, Princess Kate will ask Pippa for that role.

The expert said: “It would be unprecedented for Pippa to receive a title simply because her sister is queen consort” — but, like Elliot, a role like a lady-in-attendance or companion could be in Pippa’s future.”

She said the bond between the two sisters has already laid the groundwork for Pippa’s mission next to her ailing sister. Williams shared: “I think traditionally, we might expect Catherine to appoint her sister Pippa because Catherine is so famously close to her family. She doesn’t have companions because she’s so close to her mother and sister. I think we might expect that Pippa might be someone she might appoint.”

Along with the new honor from Princess Kate, Pippa is set to become a lady via her husband.

Hello Magazine explained: “Pippa’s husband is reportedly set to inherit his father David Matthews‘ title as Laird of Glen Affric — and, as such, Pippa will one day become Lady of Glen Affric.”

The Prince of Wales will bring a touch of modernity to the monarchy.
