Melania Trump has changed all her plans and rearranged her life for the one person she loves most.
The former first lady has left Florida and returned to New York to be closer to her 18-year-old son, Barron Trump.
The teenager, displaying remarkable courage, started college this summer. He is attending the prestigious Stern School of Business at New York University.
The mother worries about the everyday things the child will go through as he begins his journey as a young man.
However, because her son is a Trump, the former first lady knows that he is dealing with much more.
The former model is gutted by what her son is going through as he tries to make his first mark in the world.
To start, Melania Trump was livid to see the photos of Barron flanked by almost a dozen Secret Service agents as he left Trump Tower and chauffeured to the college campus.
Melania Trump wants her son to have privacy as he navigates this complex chapter. The businesswoman is not thrilled by the fact that the faces of the security service agents are known.
She wants her son to be safe after the ordeal that his father went through in Pennsylvania. Mrs. Trump is also watching her impressive son face public scrutiny and humiliation for the first time.
The Daily Mail spoke to several students who attend the same university as Barron Trump, and some had some not-so-nice thoughts about the young man and his controversial family, including concerns about his privilege and the attention he brings to the university.
One student clarified that she would “absolutely not be friends with Barron.” Another said that the son of the billionaire president is privileged.
The student claimed: “It speaks to the privilege that a lot of the N.Y.U. kids have. I’m only here because of financial aid.”
Others are frustrated by the amount of security and paparazzi Barron brought to the university.
A few warned Melania Trump that Barron will become a full-blown liberal after four years at N.Y.U. They believe the Trumps will regret he went there.
Some commentators were baffled by Barron’s decision to attend college in person instead of doing it from the comfort of his golden Trump Tower.
Donald Trump answered that question. He told The Mail that his son liked N.Y.U. despite the chaos and drama, which includes the public attention his family brings.
Donald Trump said: “He was accepted to a lot of colleges. He’s a very smart guy, and he’ll go to Stern, the business school, which is a great school at N.Y.U.”
He added: “It’s a very high-quality place. He liked it. He liked the school. We liked N.Y.U. I’ve known N.Y.U. for a long time, but it’s one of the highest-rated…I went to Wharton, and that was certainly one that we were considering. We didn’t do that.”
The Trump are now focusing on winning the November election.
