Offset‘s recent appearance on a Livestream sparked cheating rumors, as at one point in the video, the Migos rapper looked like he was trying to hide his smartphone from his wife, Cardi B, who had just entered the room.
In the footage, Offset can be seen rushing to put his mobile device in his pocket as soon as he hears his wife come near him, but his jeans appear not to be wide enough, so the lyricist just hastily sits over the phone.
After the video clip founds its way to social media, a lot of people claimed that Offset was not trustworthy and must be hiding something from his beloved to be acting in such a strange manner, as many referred to the supposed cheating scandal from 2018, in which the rapper was involved.
Some supporters took to Twitter and Instagram to express their suspicions of the hip-hop star, and many commented on how Offset was still finding a way to cheat on Cardi B despite the quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the rapper quickly addressed the spreading rumors about his alleged unfaithfulness to his wife by appearing on Instagram Live, where he discussed the matter thoroughly.
The “Rap Saved Me” performer stated that people focus on the negative things in life when the whole world has been affected by the coronavirus, and at one point, he exclaimed, “that’s why we can’t get no money. Can’t none of us get no money?”
Furthermore, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, pleaded from his fans by saying: “Got folks out here dying. You wanna focus on something negative. We got too much negativity. That’s why we can’t get no money. Can’t none of us get no money.”
He concluded by: “Don’t kill the vibe, man. We vibin’, man. I’m with my family, and you know what I’m sayin’? We together every day. I hope you with yours every day. We don’t need none of this negative, hateful, making something out of nothing for no reason. We good over this way.”
Cardi B recently talked about her decision to work on her marriage after she threatened to file for divorce.
She explained: “I feel like we just really are a very regular couple. We just do regular things. I just feel like: We’re famous … we’re really popular right now — I just don’t know the obsession, as I feel like everything we do is a big deal. Even before the bad scandals, just from the first time they have seen us together, it was just like this big crazy deal.”
Kulture‘s mother added: “I hang out with him, I talk to him every day, and we do our thing. It’s just like — to make things perfect … it takes time. You know, f—ing and hanging out doesn’t mean that you guys are on like a perfect note, it takes time. It takes time. And it’s a marriage, and there’s a child involved and family involved.”
It is not clear that the Migos rapper was able to put the cheating rumors to rest for good.
