Disappointed Meghan Markle Puts The Focus On Herself In New Photos After Kate Middleton’s Big Win

There is just over a week until Christmas Day, and people everywhere are dashing around to buy last-minute gifts. It is rare to see Meghan Markle or Prince Harry in public.

Since moving to their lavish California mansion, the independent royals have been photographed only a handful of times.

The pair, who values their privacy, has maintained a low profile in the Montecito community and only gives a glimpse at their lives when they choose to.

Meghan Markle and the British prince are seen when they deem it necessary.

Recently, Meghan Marke was seen doing what millions of people are doing this time of the year — she was said to be frantically shopping for gifts, according to a witness.

Meghan Markle made sure that she was well covered for the harsh California winter. Prince Harry’s wife was covered with a long coat, a beanie, a face mask, and dark sunglasses.

She completed her look with boots. The former actress was spotted carrying bags, presumably filled with gifts for her children and the royal family in England.

An onlooker told the media: “There was a franticness to her shopping like she was just itching to get out and be somewhat normal. Even if it was for just an hour.”

During the shopping spree, Meghan Markle was seen looking at two phones.

And there is a possibility that she stumbled upon Kate Middleton‘s glossy cover of PEOPLE Magazine.

Inside the magazine, there is an interview from Kate Middleton’s close friends who spoke about Prince Harry and Markle’s move to California and the heartaches left by their interviews.

In a desperate attempt to have the spotlight on her brand, she stepped out for the impromptu photo shoot.

Markle’s move comes as royal expert Daniela Elser explained that she must be crushed and disappointed to be in America, yet Kate Middleton is the one receiving all the high honors.

She went on to say that Duchess of Sussex must be under pressure to make her mark after the Duchess of Cambridge‘s latest win.

The author said: “Just in case anyone’s counting, this is the Duchess’ fourth-star turn on the front of the glossy entertainment magazine in the last 12 months, including her second solo outing.”

She continued: “Here’s the kicker: Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex? During one of the biggest years of her life, including one in which she accused the royal house of institutional racism and ignored her pleas for help when her mental health suffered, when she welcomed her second child and when she launched her post-Megxit career? Not a single cover of just her.

She then shared: “(Meghan has appeared twice on covers with Harry, while he has notched up a further two covers without his wife.) While the cover of People is hardly the most precise of barometers of public standing and approval, what Kate’s continued appearance, and Meghan’s lack of star billing, casts a less-than-sparkling picture of the Sussexes’ Stateside campaign to establish themselves as dazzling public figures.”

Elser also stated: “Beyond that, the sustained public interest in the Windsors Stateside would seem to suggest that the American people have not wholesale bought the Sussexes’ version of events.”

She went to say that there is a possibility that Middleton is more brandable and sells more magazines than Markle.

She revealed: “The fact that People has slapped Kate on the cover, something they would not do if she would not sell well, points to the Duchess still occupying a relatively positive place in American hearts and minds.”

There are reports that Kate Middleton might land on the cover for her birthday next month.
