Meghan Markle and her loyal companion, Guy Markle, are having a great summer, according to the latest photos that have surfaced on the internet.
Over the weekend, while the Royal Family including Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Queen Camilla were soaking up headlines and basking in the limelight at Wimbledon, Meghan Markle and her beloved furry friend, Guy Markle, were photographed at Montecito Farmer’s Market in California.
No fancy gowns, no tiaras, no pricey jewelry, just Markle casually dressed in a beige maxi dress and white unbuttoned and elegant aviator sunglasses to fight off California’s radiant sunshine.
Markle completed the look with a pair of flip-flops. Prince Harry’s wife carried a large straw basket with what looked like healthy, locally grown vegetables and other products.
Markle was also seen purchasing a massive bouquet of pink flowers.
In some of the photos, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, is seen talking to a stand owner as she looks at flowers.
Markle and her cute dog, Guy Markle, are seen walking away in a brief video. One expert weighed in on the photos of Markle’s outing with her dog to say the Duchess has finally found what she has been searching for — a happy and quiet life.
Senior therapist Sally Baker spoke to the Daily Mail to say that Markle’s “purchases at the farmer’s market revealed her newfound ability to indulge in the simple joy of picking out blooms for her home.”
The mental health expert went on to remind readers that the Duchess repeatedly expressed her desire to “step away from her royal duties and to embrace a more relatable, everyday existence – a wish her outing shows to be turning into reality.”
Sally Baker concluded by saying the photos of Markle taking part in the mundane yet joyful activity confirmed that she is where she has always wanted to be.
She shared: “The sight of Meghan buying the flowers was a testament to her embracing the normalcy of her new life and a reminder of the life she lived before marrying into the British Royal Family. This outing underscores Meghan’s intention to live her life as she and Harry created it.”
She added that Markle can be herself because she is no longer scrutinized and added: “It is a far cry from the spotlight and scrutiny that she faced as a senior member of the British Royal Family. The Duchess seems to be enjoying the pleasures of a simpler, quieter life – shopping at the local market, engaging with community members, and relishing the Californian lifestyle.”
The former actress is said to be working on some big projects.
