King Charles Shames Prince Harry And Meghan Markle By Highlighting Their Failures

King Charles Meghan Markle Prince Harry Plans

It is obvious that King Charles III had different ideas for his reign, but those did not go as planned.

His Majesty imagined that he would take over the monarchy with his two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, by his side.

However, that concept blew up when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties and moved to California.

For the next three years, the Sussexes aired the monarchy’s dirty laundry in public via interviews, a Netflix series, and a best-selling memoir.

According to Ed Owens, the author of the book After Elizabeth: Can the Monarchy Save Itself?, King Charles has maintained a dignified position that is a trap for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The veteran royal expert revealed that King Charles has protected his image and reputation by keeping back channels open for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle if they ever decide to come back.

He stated: “The King wants to maintain a positive reputation with the British people. In that respect, the easiest solution is for him to try to maintain and keep hold of the moral high ground. So far, he’s done that [with the Sussexes]. He’s done that by making it clear, sometimes through back channels. But often, it’s through stories that go out to the press, from the palace, that he very much wants to keep the door open to Harry and Meghan, should they decide they want to return.”

King Charles has brilliantly placed the weight of reconciliation on the Sussexes because they are in the wrong and have failed the Royal Family and the monarchy.

The commentator also said that King Charles has been able to shame Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for their actions while maintaining the moral high ground.

He claimed: “He is demonstrating that he is ready to reconcile and that, ultimately, the onus is on them to decide whether they want to heal the wounds that have opened up between them and the rest of the Royal Family. The King has done that quite successfully so far. He’s held the moral high ground, he’s presented himself as a conciliator. That is the best way to maintain his reputation as a public figure.”

King Charles, like the rest of the world, was aware that after all that had transpired between the British royals and the Montecito couple, they would not return to London.

This is a calculated maneuver from the King, who is aware that he, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and his young grandchildren are set for a life of permanent estrangement.
