Jennifer Lopez is still living rent-free in Ben Affleck‘s head even though they have opted for a dramatic living agreement and have made shocking moves to sell their marital mansion.
After barely two years of marriage, Lopez and Affleck have concluded that their union was not meant to be. The pair waited more than 20 years to reconcile and push for their happy endings.
However, their seemingly perfect romance, both on paper and Instagram, was unable to withstand the pressures of their busy schedules and differing views on privacy, leading to their separation.
Sources also claimed that the pair have been arguing over everything under the sun. Lopez and Affleck have concluded that divorce is imminent, and with that in mind, they are quietly selling their recently purchased multi-million dollar mansion.
TMZ confirmed the news after photos of the home surfaced on the website of a real estate company. The publication shared: “Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ J Lo and Ben are using realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency to sell the home they bought a little over a year ago to this day. TMZ broke the story; the then-newlyweds snagged the enormous Beverly Hills mansion for just over $60 million.”
Lopez is said to still live in the luxurious home while Affleck has moved out. The Oscar-winning actor has rented a home in Brentwood, where he resides with his children.
Other sources that spoke to Us Weekly revealed that Affleck is at an impasse and feels the marriage is over, but he cannot let her go. According to insiders, Affleck struggles because he is lonely and misses Lopez.
The outlet shared: “The source adds that “[Ben has] struggled with loneliness” since moving out of their home “and realized how much he misses Jen.” For now, they’re at an impasse. While they were apart, “Ben and Jen kept in touch primarily to discuss essential matters and updates,” says the second Lopez source.”
Despite the current heartbreaking circumstances, some still hold the hope that they will find a way to rekindle their relationship.
The publication stated: “Some believe they can work it out with time and effort, pointing to their deep bond. Others think the relationship has run its course.”
Maybe some are right to cling to hope because despite the chatter of divorce, “the couple has continued to put on a united front,” according to Page Six.
The pair were seen together at Affleck’s 12-year-old son Samuel‘s basketball game. Jennifer Garner was also present. Lopez attended several celebrations for 18-year-old daughter Violet Affleck‘s high school graduation.
