Prince Harry has taken a significant step forward for the first time in five years.
However, the journey is far from over. Immediately after his step forward, Prince Harry took several steps back, ensuring the drama and intrigue surrounding the Royal Family continued.
A source close to the former soldier has revealed to The Daily Beast that he has realized that King Charles III, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla will never honor his request.
In his book Spare and interviews, Prince Harry demands that members of the Royal Family apologize for the trauma they have caused him.
Prince Harry claimed he was abandoned by his father, mentally and physically abused by his brother, and his stepmother humiliated him with media leaks.
The Royal Family, via reliable sources in The Mail and The Daily Beast, made it clear there would never be any public or private apology.
Prince Harry understood that his delusional request would never be met, so he finally dropped it.
The source explained via The Daily Beast: “Harry is said to have dropped his own demands for an apology from the royals for the poor and discriminatory way he alleges his wife was treated by the royals when they lived in the U.K. as working royals. The Daily Beast has been told he would like to make a fresh start with his family, including his brother. ”
Prince Harry ended his demands for the mea culpa from his relatives because he is now ready to make amends.
In the same breath, Prince Harry has made it clear that he will never withdraw any of the accusations or revelations he has made over the years.
One such accusation includes two royals being named as racists. Markle also claimed that she was abandoned when she became unwell and had suicidal thoughts.
Prince Harry wants his family to know he meant every word and will not take them back, not now, not ever.
The Daily Beast went on to share: “However, Harry has made it clear he will not apologize for or withdraw remarks made in his films, books, or interviews that shed unprecedented light on intimate family secrets—and William will not countenance a rapprochement unless he does.”
Prince Harry’s decision could not have come at a more crucial time because Prince William’s disdain for his brother has hardened.
A source explained to the media outlet: “William‘s stance has hardened, sources have told the Daily Beast, since one friend first told The Daily Beast that William “f***ing hates” his brother.”
The Duke of Sussex will have to try a different path.
