It appears that Prince Harry‘s recent announcement that he plans to write a revealing memoir about his life as a member of the British royal family took many members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth, by surprise.
Her Majesty, who was said to be baffled by the bombshell news, has decided to react swiftly to stop Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from spreading more wild claims about her and her relatives.
For the past 12 months, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been making a living by sharing royal secrets and accusing his relatives of neglecting them or having racist behavior.
Aware that Prince Harry and his spouse will continue with that pattern after getting paid at least $20 million upfront by Penguin Random House to publish his memoirs, the Queen has taken drastic actions to protect herself and other family members, including Prince Charles and Prince William.
Elizabeth II has lawyered up to fight back the attacks and harsh accusations that will be revealed by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in the memoir.
Queen Elizabeth knows that there is a real love affair with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in some American corners where supporters believe their every word — which is why she plans to put a stop to it by sending legal warnings to Penguin Random House.
The royal aide, who leaked the Queen’s decision, explained to The Sun: “If someone were named in the book and accused of something directly, that could be a libel and also infringe their rights to a private family life. There are concerns that the American public are falling for what Harry and Meghan say.”
According to the senior aide, there are talks with libel experts. The royal expert went on to say: “The feeling, coming right from the top, is that enough is enough. There is a limit to how much will be accepted, and the Queen and royal family can only be pushed so far. They are getting lawyered up. Harry and Meghan will be made aware and know repeated attacks will not be tolerated.”
Many royal insiders back the Queen because Meghan Markle and the prince have become unpredictable.
According to Richard Fitzwilliam, renowned royal insider and PR consultant, the Duke of Sussex‘s decision to release such a book showed that he has indeed “gone rogue.”
Furthermore, Fitzwilliam stated that the upcoming controversial read was most likely planned to be used as a “lever” against the rest of the royals, as Prince Harry declared that he would tell the story of the “highs and lows” he went through while growing up as the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II.
Apparently, the autobiography, which is planned for release during the monarch’s Platinum Jubilee next year, already showed “potential to be dynamite.”
The royal expert elaborated further by saying that the announcement of the book was “incredibly worrying” since nobody could predict what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would do next.
Fitzwilliam claimed that the news of the upcoming memoir must have complicated the situation for the rest of the royals by making them extremely cautious about what could be featured in the book.
In addition, the royal insider criticized Prince Harry for his decision to release the book during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year as it could shift the public’s focus away from honoring the monarch’s 70-year long reign.
So far, it is known that the Duke of Sussex is collaborating with renowned biographer John Joseph Moehringer, who authored several memoirs, including that of retired tennis star Andre Agassi.
