After King Charles III was hit with two devastating health news reports, he gathered his team to make succession plans.
Not even one year into his reign, His Majesty was briefly hospitalized for an enlarged prostate and was later diagnosed with cancer.
The Sovereign, who is 75 years old, has been working hand in hand with the heir to the throne, Prince William, for the transition to happen as smoothly as possible.
While Prince William is at the center of the action, it has been claimed that tight measures have been put in place to keep Prince Harry out of important conversations and decisions.
Talking to The Mirror, royal expert and author Tom Quinn explained that King Charles’s health issues might be more complex than he appears to bravely lead on during his public walks with Queen Camilla.
The commentator claimed that is why King Charles had decided to turn the kingdom over to his oldest son.
Quinn told The Mirror: “Charles is also aware that, as future king, William is at the heart of the succession planning that is taking place right now. Officials had assumed Charles would remain healthy at least into his mid-eighties before succession planning would need to begin, but in fact, it has now begun and indicates perhaps that Charles’ cancer is more dangerous than we have been led to believe.”
He went on to say that there are many secrets involved in the planning, which is why Prince Harry has been barred from it in a major blow by King Charles.
He stated: “Succession planning is highly secret, and no one trusts Harry to be part of it for the simple reason that if he feels in any way slighted or not given what he feels he deserves, he will run straight to the media.”
The day King Charles called Prince Harry to share his health crisis, he dropped everything and boarded a flight to London to be with his sick father.
The two men had a 30-minute conversation that opened the door to a reconciliation. However, days later, Prince Harry broke his father’s trust and angered him by sharing details about the meet-up with the media.
King Charles was reminded that his son could not be trusted with high-level information about his family and the monarchy.
Additionally, Prince William has yet to forgive Prince Harry for the many humiliating revelations and accusations in Spare and interviews and therefore has no interest in having him in his business.
Royal expert and commentator Helena Chard told Fox News: “Prince William has his own private turmoil. He knows his brother well and certainly won’t allow him to breeze back into the family, as he doesn’t trust him.”
Prince William has already made it clear that he will not invite Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children, Archie and Lilibet, to his coronation ceremony.
