Brad Pitt has been in a deeply committed relationship with Ines de Ramon for over two years, a romance that is now facing significant challenges because of Angelina Jolie.
According to reports, things are going swiftly for the pair. The couple lives together, and the jewelry designer has met Brad Pitt’s children.
Pitt is eager to move to the next step with his girlfriend, maybe marriage, and start a family of their own. However, he has not been able to do so because of the ongoing bitter divorce process created by his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.
The power couple split almost a decade ago, but Jolie is said to be dragging the divorce to make Pitt pay for his actions towards her and their children.
Jolie claimed in court documents that Pitt assaulted her and one of their children in 2016. She also wants him to pay millions because she believes she contributed to their successful business.
The duo is fighting over a multi-million dollar vineyard and chateaux in France. Pitt and Jolie were legally single in 2019, but he felt tied down because he could not get married to his model girlfriend.
A source told the Daily Mail: “Brad really wants this to be finalized more than anything. If it were up to him entirely, this would have been wrapped up long ago.”
The insider continued: “Brad wants to move forward with Ines, and he can’t when he is technically still married to the mother of his children.”
Pitt is said to be confused by Jolie’s moves to hurt him. The person stated: “It is not an easy split, obviously, but it could have been wrapped in the last ten years. Brad has a great relationship with most of his kids who have met Ines. They are happy that their dad is happy, and Ines has taken kindly to the children.”
Now that Ines de Ramon has finalized her divorce from Paul Wesley, Brad Pitt has an extra reason to close the Angelina Jolie chapter.
The source stated: “Ines finalizing her divorce from her husband and moving in with Brad spurs him on to finalize with Angie more than ever.”
The insider continued: “Brad has fought hard to beat the demons that arose during his marriage to Angie. He does not drink, and he has become the man who deserves the love he is getting from Ines.”
With some of her actions to prolong this situation, some believe that Angelina Jolie is giving Ines de Ramon a few things to worry about – such as whether she will ever be able to marry Brad Pitt and how many years this divorce and money drama will last.
