With each passing day, King Charles III takes another decision, confirming that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s roles and even presence in the Royal Family are further diminished into nothingness.
Case in point — Prince Harry’s upcoming visit to England. In May, Prince Harry and presumably Meghan Markle are set to return to London for a special event surrounding the Invictus Games at St. Paul’s Cathedral on May 8.
As revealed in his Good Morning America interview, Prince Harry has decided to visit his cancer-stricken father.
The Prince, who spent the past four years attacking the royals for every decision, confession, and policy, now believes that family is important.
Prince Harry has mapped out some ideas on how he can bond with his loving “Pa” again. However, King Charles has decided that the chapter of him being a naive and forever forgiving father has ended with Spare.
Prince Harry lit a blow torch to Queen Camila‘s reputation and personality. His Majesty is also fearful of Prince Harry’s decision to constantly leak and sell private information to the highest bidder.
For all these reasons, King Charles has decided to return the favor by further diminishing Prince Harry’s access to him — a move that will certainly hurt his ego and status.
According to reports, if King Charles grants his youngest son a visit in May, it will be shorter and even more controlled than last time.
Earlier this year, Prince Harry rushed to London to be with his father after he announced his cancer diagnosis. The meeting lasted less than 30 minutes.
It is claimed that staff members and Queen Camilla were present during the brief encounter. According to royal author Tom Quinn, King Charles will grant his son an audience because he is “more forgiving” with him than his older brother, Prince William, and because he had a painful childhood.
He said, via The Mirror: “It won’t be quite so difficult for Harry to see his father, although that relationship is also fraught with pain and a sense of grievance. But Charles knows Harry had a difficult childhood for which he, Charles, was partly responsible, and so he is more forgiving than William.”
Quinn went on to explain why Prince Harry will be spending little time with his father: “The meeting between Harry and his father King Charles will be short and formal, simply because any difficult conversations could lead to complaints being widely broadcast when Harry gets back to the States.”
He concluded by revealing where the father and son stand by saying: “Just as with the relationship with William, Harry‘s relationship with his father has been badly damaged by the publication of Spare and Harry and Meghan’s various interviews; both William and Charles are always going to worry that they can’t say anything privately and off the record to Harry without the real risk that he will go public on anything and everything.”
The Duke of Sussex is paying a hefty price for his mistakes.
