Prince Harry has been left devastated after meeting with his father, King Charles III, and he has shocked the world with what he has decided to do about it.
After the prince rushed to London to meet with his cancer-stricken dad, he took a brief trip to Canada to promote the upcoming Invictus Games.
During an interview with Good Morning America, the normally talkative Prince Harry left many baffled when he refused to share private details about King Charles’s health or the short exchange that took place between them.
When asked about his father’s condition, The Duke of Sussex told the reporter: “That stays between me and him.”
One royal expert weighed in on the sudden change in Prince Harry by saying that after his countless attacks on the Royal Family via his book, Netflix series, and bombshell interviews, he has decided to change his ways.
Royal expert and author Tom Quinn told The Mirror that Prince Harry has finally recognized that he has gone too far and said too much about his family.
He shared: “Harry’s refusal to go into detail about his father’s illness on Good Morning America is definitely a sign that he knows he has gone too far in the past.”
Prince Harry also said he felt grateful that he was allowed to make a brief return to the UK to see his ailing father. According to the royal commentator, Prince Harry is confirming that the rumors are true — he feels deeply saddened and insulted that his father did the bare minimum by offering only 30 minutes of his precious time to talk.
The royal biographer stated: “He was hurt that he only got to spend thirty minutes with his father on his recent visit and that officials made it clear that he was not really wanted.”
Prince Harry has decided that his best option is to stop talking because that is the only way His Majesty will ever trust and maybe respect him again.
Prince Harry has also revealed that he is hopeful that he will find ways to reconnect with his family and eventually earn their forgiveness.
He stated: “Throughout all these families, I see it on a day-to-day basis, the strength of the family unit coming together. I think any illness, any sickness, brings families together.”
He added that he has some trips planned for the future. Prince Harry concluded by: “Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on a plane and go and see him and spend any time with him I’m grateful for that.”
The Duke of Sussex has a lot of work to do before fixing his situation with the royals.
