Liam Hemsworth has returned to Instagram for the first time after filing for divorce from Miley Cyrus, who is just busy having fun and enjoying life with her girl pal, Kaitlynn Carter.
It looks like Miley is determined to show the world how much she cares for Kaitlynn, as the two were recently spotted together at the MTV VMAs.
After the big gathering, they went to the afterparty at the Up&Down club and were again seen showing strong affection for each other, even holding hands as they were entering the location.
The two had changed into a different set of clothes to be more comfortable at the second outing and seemed to be having a great time.
It is not the first time there have been talks about a possible relationship between the two, although observers have only seen small glimpses of it so far.
Miley is quite serious about her decision to advance in this new direction with her life, though, and she has been making some solid moves in this regard lately.
The constant display of affection between the two women reportedly pushed Liam to file for divorce faster.
An insider told Us Weekly: “He thought they could work it out, but all those pictures of her and Kaitlynn ended that. Liam comes from a very conservative family, and his family was freaked out by it.”
A person close to the 29-year-old Australian actor shared this with Entertainment Weekly: “Liam’s decision to file for divorce is sad, but in the end, it was never going to work. They are too different. Liam never wanted to share Miley with anyone. He loves her, and he is far too traditional. He finally realized he just wants to start fresh.”
Meanwhile, many of her fans have been critical of the way she has been behaving, accusing her of being unfaithful to her estranged husband, Liam, and claiming that they have been disappointed by her in general.
One commenter stated: “To be almost 30 and still “trying to figure yourself out.” Oh come on and grow up. Why did she even get married? Just live your damn life and stop making it a spectacle. Most people don’t have time to “soul search” the amount of times this girl has. I guess this is what the entertainment industry does to you and the luxury it provides you.”
A second critic explained: “Geez Miley, this is not how you treat someone you claim that you love. Why rub it in his face. You never deserved Liam, he’s too good for you.”
It does not seem like Miley is all too affected by any of this, though, as she has been holding her head up high and has been moving on with her life.
Liam has reportedly not been taking the whole thing very well, although there have been conflicting rumors, with some claiming that he was the main reason for the split between the two.
A supporter told him: “Hang in there Liam….everything will fall in to place. You are loved by many!!”
The situation is still unfolding though, so it will likely take a while before fans find out the truth.
